Advancing the implementation of adaptation and climate resilience priorities in LAC
The general objective of this TC is to generate additional and applicable knowledge to address needs and challenges that hinder the acceleration of investment on adaptation and climate resilience in the LAC region. The specific objectives are: (i) to develop and apply robust methodologies that quantify the economic, social, and environmental costs and benefits of adaptation investments and policies, enabling evidence-based decision-making and prioritization of high-impact adaptation actions; (ii) to systematically identify, document, and disseminate best practices and lessons learned on innovative public and private financial instruments that catalyze adaptation finance, strengthening national and subnational capacity to scale effective financing solutions; and (iii) to support the design and operationalization of national MEL systems or frameworks that track progress, assess effectiveness, and generate actionable insights on adaptation actions, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with national and subnational adaptation priorities.
