Institutional Strengthening of FONPLATA and Executing Agencies of the River Plate Basin Countries II

The general objective of the TC is to support the preparation and implementation of the second individual operation (RG-L1175) under the Conditional Credit Line for Investment Projects (CCLIP): Regional Integration of the River Plate Basin Countries (RG-O1679). The proposed operation seeks to continue strengthening regional integration in the River Plate Basin through investments aimed at: (i) improving physical and digital connectivity among the countries of the Basin; (ii) optimizing logistics, trade facilitation, and urban and rural development in border areas; and (iii) strengthening the capacities of FONPLATA and the governments of the Basin in project management and execution, technology and innovation, monitoring and evaluation, development effectiveness, and diversity and inclusion.
