Long-Term Care Policy Dialogue and Knowledge Generation in Collaboration with Japan in Latin America and the Caribbean

The objective of this technical cooperation (TC) project is to support the region in the development of long-term care policies and systems, that increase the quality of life of older persons and promote gender equality through the reduction of the burden of care for women. More specifically, the TC will: (i) support the functioning of the Long-Term Care Policy Network in Latin America and the Caribbean (RedCUIDAR+); (ii) produce and disseminate knowledge on long-term care. In both cases, the project will foster the participation of experts familiar with Japan long-term care policies, services and innovations.
