Addressing and Preventing Violence Against Women and Girls – An Operational Approach

The general objective of this TC is to support the systematization, financing, and scaling up of interventions, and the expansion of the IDB's portfolio of operations, to prevent VAWG and provide services to survivors. The TC has two specific objectives, each corresponding to one determinant: (i) to consolidate data and evidence and develop the operational tools needed to design, cost, finance, and scale up VAWG interventions; and (ii) to systematize and disseminate evidence on what works and strengthen the capacity of staff of ministries with responsibility for women's affairs, among other relevant regional counterparts, to apply it in the design and implementation of policies and programs.
