The objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to support LAC governments in developing a structured framework to strengthen digital and data infrastructure, promote the responsible adoption of emerging technologies, and address key governance, regulatory and investment gaps. This initiative seeks to enhance digital transformation efforts, foster regional collaboration, and contribute to inclusive and sustainable growth by addressing the digital infrastructure gap in the LAC region that continues to hinder the region's transition toward data/driven economies and the widespread adoption of emerging technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI).
