Strengthening of Environmental and Social Country Systems

The objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to support and strengthen national environmental and social country systems in Latin America and the Caribbean through the development of Overview Assessments (OA), the reinforcement of regional licensing and enforcement networks through the Regional Policy Dialogue (RPD), and the dissemination and management of the findings and knowledge exchanges generated. This TC will contribute to improving the understanding, comparability, and practical use of national environmental and social systems, while strengthening regional collaboration and technical capacities to enhance regulatory frameworks, improve the efficiency of licensing processes, and support more effective enforcement.
