Grid flexibilization in RELAC countries

The IDB acts as the Technical Secretariat of the Renewables in Latin America and the Caribbean initiative (RELAC). RELAC is the climate action platform of the electricity sector of 16 countries in the region that aims at reaching 80% of renewable energy (RE) in the power matrix of participating countries. This TC will support member countries reaching those targets by identifying grid flexibility measures and developing a portfolio of bankable projects to optimize electricity transmission. It will also support the RELAC workplan until 2030 including training and capacity building activities.
