Support to Identify Return Migrants in Household Surveys

The objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to strengthen the capacity of Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador to identify and analyze return migrants in national household surveys, in order to improve the evidence base for reintegration, social inclusion, and poverty reduction policies. Specifically, the TC will support the development, testing, and incorporation of harmonized return-migrant identification questions into selected household survey instruments, allowing the three countries to generate comparable information on the size, profile, geographic distribution, and selected reintegration outcomes of return migrants.
