Quality and secure data: a cybersecurity strategy for National Statistical Offices

The general objective of this TC is to promote the adoption of a cybersecurity strategy tailored to the specific characteristics of NSOs in LAC. The specific objectives are to: (i) assess the current state of cybersecurity in participating NSOs, including protocols, infrastructure, and institutional frameworks, to identify main risks, challenges, and obstacles; (ii) analyze and adapt South Korea's advanced legal frameworks and technological solutions for data security to the statistical context of LAC; and (iii) design a regional cybersecurity strategy and country-specific roadmaps aligned with NSOs' needs and covering all stages of the data production process, collection, transmission, analysis, and dissemination.
