Support for improving transport Project Effectiveness through strategic insights to procurement and contract execution

The general objective of this Technical Cooperation is to contribute to improving the effectiveness of the IDB's transportation operations by the systematizing and analyzing existing operational knowledge on public works bidding and contract execution processes. To achieve this, the proposal focuses on: (i) the organization and analysis of relevant information to strengthen the quality, traceability, and utilization of data on bids and contracts; and (ii) strengthening technical capacities within the Bank and among its national counterparts to implement best practices and promote continuous improvement in contract management.
