Improving Subnational Fiscal Sustainability in Latin America and the Caribbean

The objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to support the improvement of subnational fiscal sustainability in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). This objective will be achieved through the institutional strengthening of intergovernmental fiscal arrangements, the enhancement of the capacities of the governing bodies of decentralization to carry out more effective fiscal monitoring, and the strengthening of the financial condition and creditworthiness of intermediate and local levels of government in the region.
