Promote and support the implementation of the Coordinated Border Management Model in Central America

The overall objective is to support the implementation of actions planned in the ECFCC-2023 regarding the Coordinated Border Management (CBM) scheme, to improve controls, clearance of goods, and the mobility of people. Specifically, the CT aims to provide concrete support to three areas associated with the CBM model: (i) contribute to the approval and implementation of the regional CBM model as a strategic instrument for the region; (ii) strengthen countries' technical capacities in the implementation of the ECFCC-2023; (iii) create opportunities to maintain and strengthen support for its agenda on trade facilitation and issues in the economic integration process in Central America.
