Supporting Latin American and Caribbean Countries OECD Engagement Processes
This Technical Cooperation (TC) seeks to support Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) countries in their OECD accession or other engagement processes, as applicable, by combining technical assistance, knowledge generation, and regional dialogue. The TC will place emphasis on Peru, Panama, and Uruguay, while also contributing to broader regional engagement and shared learning. The overall objective is to help countries meet OECD accession and partnership requirements or deeper engagement with OECD and leverage the process as a catalyst for institutional reform, transparency, and competitiveness. Specifically, the TC will: (i) provide tailored technical assistance and policy advisory services; (ii) strengthen institutional capacity through capacity building and peer-learning; (iii) generate evidence and comparative studies on OECD-aligned disciplines; (iv) facilitate regional dialogue and experience sharing; and (v) support targeted reforms in Peru, Panama, and Uruguay to advance their OECD engagement agendas.
