Promoting a collaborative and resilient bioeconomy in the Amazon with Indigenous women

The overall objective of this technical cooperation is to promote the leadership of indigenous women of the Amazonia by supporting their innovations in conservation, natural resource use and the application of traditional knowledge. Specifically, the project will fund a) the participation of indigenous women in national and international decision-making meetings and forums such as the Pan-Amazonian Bioeconomy Network; and b) Fellowships with training and capacity-building opportunities for indigenous women to advance their bioeconomy initiatives.
