Building Capacity for Human Resources Management Advanced Functions in LAC from the Korean Experience

The general objective of this technical cooperation (TC) project is to contribute to improve LAC countries' policy implementation and service delivery to citizens by strengthening their civil service through implementation of human resources management (HRM) advanced functions (i.e. HRM functions that have functional relations with other key public sector management areas). To do so, the specific objectives of the project are to: (i) strengthen civil service management and performance through HRM advanced functions such as HR planning and salary management, HR performance management and government policy priorities, senior civil servants' management system, and talent management; and (ii) exchange knowledge on best practices in HRM advanced functions. To achieve these objectives, the project has been structured into two components described below.
