Strengthening Response Capacities Against Chronic Food Insecurity in the SICA Region: Guatemala, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic 2025-2026

Create and develop a Mechanism for Integration and Systematization of Chronic Food Insecurity Indicators, through which the governing bodies of the National Food Security in the beneficiary countries can systematize and standardize their information sources, schedule their surveys, and define the quality and quantity indicators of the prioritized foods necessary for the production of chronic food and nutritional insecurity analysis. With the creation of the mechanism, the initiative will seek to define a prioritized list of indicators that can be collected, recorded, and monitored periodically, in order to contribute to the analysis of chronic food and nutritional insecurity.
