Transmission for the energy transition in LAC

The general objective of the CT is to evaluate mechanisms to encourage private investment in electrical transmission, in order to support the energy transition process in the region. The specific objectives are to: (i) identify which factors are affecting private investment in transmission in the region; (ii) evaluate the region in terms of investment needs and capabilities and identify a set of at least 2 countries where private investment can be incentivized, (iii) propose specific policy regulatory and sector measures that can be implemented to attract private investment.
