Towards Gender and Diversity Smart Public Financing Institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean
The general objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to enhance the institutional capacity of public financing institutions to reduce multisectoral Gender and Diversity (G&D) gaps and ultimately enhance their equity outcomes and impact. This will be achieved by embedding this support as part of the Bank's Financing Programs with these institutions or as specific technical assistance interventions. The specific objectives of this TC are to (i) increase public financing institutions' capabilities to adequately serve women, Diverse Groups (DGs) and their enterprises by: (i) facilitating the smart design of products, programs, processes and pilot initiatives tailored to these populations, (ii) aligning G&D considerations within the enabling environment to better serve these target populations, (iii) bridging existing knowledge gaps and support research in priorities or other key emerging areas, and (iv) promoting knowledge exchange and best practices, including in aspects of monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and dissemination.
