Regional Digital Connectivity Integration for the Caribbean
The general objective of this technical cooperation is to promote the Caribbean's digital integration through physical connectivity infrastructure, the development of capacities for the use and adoption of digital infrastructure, and the harmonization of regulatory frameworks for regional digital integration. Additionally, the TC seeks to intervene comprehensively in promoting digital capabilities and regional uses of digital infrastructure and promoting regulation for regional digital integration. In this way, it will encourage not only an increase in the quality of the service but, above all, an integration that favors the exchange of information, the creation of local content, the attraction of investments from different actors in the value chain, and finally, the creation of regional digital hubs.
