Regional support to countries in the North of Central America (NCA) for the socio-economic inclusion of returning migrants
The goal of this technical cooperation is to strengthen the institutional capacity of governments to advance the implementation of programs and strategic actions that ensure comprehensive, efficient, and sustainable reintegration for returnees. The specific objectives are: i) to support the development of monitoring and follow-up mechanisms for migrants from their arrival in the country until their reintegration into their communities; ii) to promote the design and implementation of programs, procedures, protocols, and intervention strategies that improve the provision of reintegration services, with a focus on inter-institutional coordination and collaboration; and iii) to enhance the quality of reintegration program management through specialized training for public officials in key institutions.
