Long-Term Care Policy Dialogue and Knowledge Generation in Latin America and the Caribbean
The objective of this technical cooperation (TC) is to support the region in the development of long-term care (LTC) policies and systems, that increase the quality of life of older persons and promote gender equality through the reduction of the burden of care for women (that represent the vast majority of the caregivers). More specifically, the TC will: (i) maintain a community of practice on aging and LTC; (ii) produce and disseminate knowledge on LTC. This TC continues the work started under RG‑T3839 (Aging Facility: Regional Long-term care Policy Network and Learning in Latin America and the Caribbean).
