Capacity Building in Citizen Security and Justice Institutions

The objective of this TC is to improve the capacity of citizen security and justice institutions in LAC to reduce and prevent crime and violence through (i) developing innovative strategies to deal with organized crime (pilots to apply methodologies of analysis and intervention tools for solving specific problems); (ii) designing a digital platform to promote problem-oriented policing (POP) in the region (online courses); (iii) implementing tools to promote open data in the justice sector (guide and application in a country); and, iv) mainstreaming gender, diversity and climate change in justice sector (technical guidelines and examples of specific cases).
