Creation of the Amazon Network for Research and Innovation on Biodiversity

The general objective of this project is to create the Amazon Network for Research and Innovation on Biodiversity, as a regional instrument to connect research institutes and strengthen their capacity for scientific development and technological innovation aimed at the development of the bioeconomy. The specific objectives of the project are: (i) promote dialogue and exchange of knowledge between the member institutes of the Network; (ii) strengthen the capacity of member institutes through collective learning initiatives; and (iii) promote the Amazon bioeconomy through collaborative science, technology and innovation projects.
