Fostering green citizenship during the school years
General Objective. Support LAC countries to promote green citizenship among children and youth of school age, developing knowledge, awareness and capacity for action on environmental sustainability, climate change and the environment. Expected Results. This TC will: (i) Develop a measurement tools of the skills associated with green citizenship of children and youth in the region; (ii) Identify successful experiences for developing these skills at school age; and (iii) position the Bank as a regional leader and partner of choice in the inclusion of climate change in education systems, mainstream climate change in EDU operations, and increase climate financing in the sector.
