Children Affected by Migration in the Northern Triangle
The overall objective is to analyze the effect on social and emotional development of children left behind by migrating parents or that have experienced migration, the care economy behind relatives or caregivers raising these children and parenting practices in households in Honduras and Guatemala. The specific objectives are to generate data to (1) identify households in the Northern Triangle with children aged 0-6 years whose parents have migrated, and (2) estimate the effect of migration on the DIT of these children.
