Support in the Execution of Projects and Monitoring of Work Risks in Transportation Projects in Latin America and the Caribbean
The objective of this TC is to support the governments of Latin American and Caribbean region improving the execution of transport projects with emphasis on countries where the Inter-American development Bank (Bank) portfolio presents important challenges in execution, such as: Argentina, Guatemala, Haiti and Suriname. This will be developed through the implementation of solutions based on the generation of knowledge with evidence, for which the experience and lessons learned in the region will be taken as a reference. The specific objectives of this TC are: (i) to provide technical support to national and local executing agencies in generating knowledge based on experience in executing projects financed by the Bank; (ii) support executing agencies and governments in the implementation of solutions and innovative technologies during the project execution phase; and (iii) train executing agencies of national and local entities and institutions to improve the execution of projects and the proper management of work contracts with technological innovations.
