RG-T3825 : Support to promote foreign trade and foreign direct investment as engines of post-pandemic economic recovery

The general objective of this TC is to support the countries of the Andean region, specifically Colombia and Ecuador, in drafting strategies, actions plans and strengthening the technical capacity of the beneficiary entities to contribute to a greater regional integration through: (i) the reduction of logistics costs and times for trade and investment and (ii) the attraction of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) to productive sectors, taking advantage of the recent trend of relocation of global value chains . This objective is intended to be achieved by facilitating technical assistance, generating new knowledge and promoting the transfer of good practices to (a) promote the digital transformation of foreign trade logistics and investment and (b) promote a greater capacity to develop productive chains between FDI and local businesses.
