Improving Knowledge to Promote Integration of Regional Policies on International Migration II: Piloting Digital Solutions for Migrant Children

The goal of this technical cooperation is to facilitate access to high-quality, age-appropriate educational content, including COVID-19 prevention materials, to young migrant children and caregivers in border cities. The specific objectives are: a) to improve and facilitate access to quality educational content for young children who already benefit from humanitarian assistance; b) improve the offer of services of organizations that work actively in the response to the migratory crisis and the pandemic through the Sesame Garden Intervention. In addition, c) increase caregivers' access to appropriate tools to support their children's development and encourage positive behavior change on specific issues, including -for example- proper hygiene and care practices, through the interactive community to WhatsApp parents.
