RG-T3730 : Support the Design and Implementation of Key Digital Interventions for COVID-19 in Latin America and the Caribbean

The purpose of this technical cooperation is to support the sustainable implementation of digital health solutions to improve the region's response to COVID-19. In doing so, this TC will fund the development of tools, technical studies, pilots, and learning materials to foster the region's ability to respond to current and future public health emergencies. Specific digital interventions include piloting of telemedicine interventions for COVID-19 patients and displaced primary healthcare patients; scale-up of Project ECHO COVID-19 Response for tele-consult between frontline providers and specialists; and support for epidemiologic surveillance for influenza-like illness (ILI) and severe acute respiratory infections (SARI) at the regional level regional level in line with WHO/PAHO guidelines. Furthermore, in order to align with regional and global best practices in global health, this project will directly coordinate with the Pan American Health Organization and Project ECHO COVID-19.
