Institutional Strengthening for Enviromental and Social Managment

The overall objective of this technical cooperation project (TC) is to build capacity in Borrower's institutions and executing agencies to implement environmental and social requirements in IDB projects, according to the new Environmental and Social Policy Framework (ESPF).

The specifics objectives of this TC are to: (i) increase executing agencies' understanding and knowledge of the new Environmental and Social Policy Framework, through expanded, specialized technical training via online and in-person courses; and (ii) promote the exchange of knowledge and good-practice experiences, through collaborative south-south learning activities, and documentation and dissemination of good practices and technical information.
