HydroBid Support Center for Applied Water Resources Management in LAC
The objective of this TC is to extend and reinforce the activities being carried out by the CeSH in LAC through software and service development. In addition, the TC will strengthen CeSH's position as the leading regional source and reference point for Water Resource Management (WRM) in LAC, serving IDB's 26 borrowing member countries, and will enhance the sustainable management of water resources to support socioeconomics goals in the region. These objectives are in line with Sustainable Development Goal number 6 "Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all". This TC will reinforce the use of instruments to support the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) project operations and identify potential new loans in the region in the area of sustainable infrastructure through the use of the HydroBID suite and the Community of Practice (COP), also it will allow us to continue to meet the demand for support that we continue to receive from the region.
