Women Deprived of Liberty

The objective of this technical cooperation is to reduce the risk of recidivism of women deprived of liberty through the adaptation and implementation of a range of pilot programs for their empowerment. The specific objectives are (i) to generate systematized and comparable information at regional level about the context and individual characteristics of women deprived of liberty; (ii) relieve the regional experience on promising interventions (iii) adapt pilot projects in the selected countries (iv) conduct a dialogue with the private sector and key actors to analyze the availability of jobs.
