Implementing Green Procurement

The objective of this TC is to support project teams and executing agencies of borrowing countries in the implementation of green procurement on IDB-financed projects to ensure that project procurement at the Bank: i) reduces its environmental impact; ii) improves project´s sustainability; iii) generates energy and water savings that will impact economic savings; iv) increases project´s resilience to climate change effects; v) promote climate related innovation through the procurement processes.
