Design and Implementation of a Drought Information System for Southern South America- (SISA)
The aim of the TC is to build a drought information system for the South of South America (SAS in spanish) with two main objectives: (1) to contribute to the reduction of the economic, social and environmental impacts that droughts have on agricultural production and hydroelectric generation in SAS, and (2) to improve the governance of risk management associated with droughts, contributing to the collective development of national policies.
