Supporting Growth Acceleration in the Southern Cone: Applied Knowledge and Policy Dialogue for an Actionable Agenda
The objective of this Technical Cooperation is to support policy action conducive to growth acceleration in the Southern Cone. It targets the effective implementation of policies in countries and sectors where economic potential is being held back by specific and identified bottlenecks. The proposed solutions should be consistent with the overarching pillars of macroeconomic stability and microeconomic efficiency. The Technical Cooperation builds upon previous diagnostic work and existing applied knowledge produced inside and outside the IDB. The Technical Cooperation plays a key role in supporting high-impact operational activities for the Southern Cone Department while supporting a systemic and multi-year approach that should also strengthen dialogue and positioning of the IDB in the region.
