Promoting Cooperation among Subnational Governments in Latin America & Caribean II

The objective of this technical cooperation is to promote innovation in public management as a tool to strengthen public institutions and the benefits of citizen services in Latin America and the Caribbean, starting with the organization of new editions of the Gobernarte contest and the diffusion of the winning initiatives. Specific objectives: (i) identify and recognize innovations in the public sector through the Gobernarte contest; (ii) increase the visibility of innovative public management advances at the government subnational level; and (iii) foster cooperation and exchange of South-South knowledge among subnational governments.
