Strengthening Current Processes for the Identification of Climate Risks and Resilience Opportunities in IDB Operations
The objective is to increase climate resilience of IDB operations by financing climate vulnerability and risk assessments in relevant IDB projects under preparation. To this end, the TC will use existing and new methods and tools to inform and influence some of the program planning upstream processes, including sectorial economic analyses. Along these lines, the proposed TC will directly accompany relevant IDB projects with required assessments to fulfill IDB commitments on climate change for 2020, while involving client countries in their conception, evaluation and further implementation.
