CANEF - Innovative Knowledge Agenda for the Extractives Sector in Latin American Countries and the Caribbean
This Technical Cooperation (TC) will support the design, organization, supervision, and execution of a multi-annual knowledge agenda for Extractive Industries in LAC. The project will answer critical questions for policy counterparts to build effective policy, while producing cutting-edge knowledge about the precise channels through which extractive industries impact development outcomes. Analytical work financed by the TC will describe development challenges of the extractive sector and the problems that key stakeholders groups (civil society, industry, and government) are best positioned to address. This TC will provide timely contribution to CANEF's strategic outcomes. It will support (i) strengthened resource governance; (ii) enhanced information management systems and cross-sector collaboration; and (iii) enhanced stakeholder engagement effectiveness.
