The overall objective of the proposed TC is to support NDBs in their efforts to raise private funds at adequate maturities in local and international capital markets through the issuance of green bonds. This objective would be a natural extension of the aforementioned efforts, since it would allow NDBs to securitize their existing and future portfolios of green assets.
