RG-T2648 : Crime and Violence in Informal Settlements in Latin America

The main aim of this TC is to inform which are the most adequate citizen security policies in the context of the marginal neighborhoods of Latin America. To achive this goal, the intermediate objectives are: i) generate evicence on the insecurity problems that affect the population and about which there is no official information, ii) characterize the relationship between violence and marginal living conditions, iii) understand the rule of law and the informal and formal channels that govern the relationships in these informal settlements.
