RG-T2591 : Generating Labor Markets Indicators for Measuring Productivity Gaps in LAC

A key sector in this analysis is labor markets and, as such, this TC seeks to finance the generation of labor markets-related data in selected Latin American and Caribbean countries where data is missing, in order to contribute to the construction of a comprehensive database for the region at the Bank¿s disposal. The ultimate goal is to use that complete database to generate knowledge providing a new methodology that should help policy makers in Latin America and IDB staff identify those key areas that enhance productivity and income-per-capita levels. This will also be a central input to Country Development Challenges (CDC) documents, the new diagnostic document that will precede the making of Country Strategies.
