RG-T2570 : Institutional Architecture for Quality Education

Specific objectives are: (i) to develop a comparative analytical framework for the analysis of the institutional architecture of education systems; (ii) to create a comparative international dataset describing the institutional characteristics of 71 education systems ; (iii) to produce 28 case studies presenting in-depth analysis of the functioning of high performing education systems and selected LAC countries; (iv) to analyze the relationship between different institutional models and educational outcomes, not just in terms of quality but also in terms of equity (how benefits are distributed across different income levels); v) to develop knowledge products to disseminate the information produced through this TC.
