RG-T2521 : Enhancing the IDB's Borrowing Member Countries Work on Transparency and Accounta

The overall objective of this TC is to continue supporting the IDB's borrowing member countries' efforts to enhance transparency and accountability by providing technical support in the preparation and execution of operations financed by the AAF and to promote awareness and knowledge dissemination in this area. The specific objectives of this TC are to enable the IDB to provide continued support to AAF beneficiary projects and partners with: (i) regional cooperation to raise awareness on transparency and integrity at the regional and country levels; (ii) knowledge generation based on the activities financed by the AAF; and (iii) appropriate supervision and advice on preparation of project proposals and efficient project implementation based on mid-term and final evaluations of AAF-financed projects to prevent or correct deviation from planned activities and products and glean lessons learned for future projects. Considering that all countries in the region are eligible to receive support from the AAF, the activities and products financed by this TC will benefit all countries in the region.
