The objective of the Technical Cooperation is to understand how do Base of the Pyramid (BoP) markets operate today. The study will look deeper into (i) the BoP population and its socio-economic characteristics in at least three countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, (ii) the formal and informal channels through which the BoP acquires its goods and services and market dynamics and (iii) the behavioral aspects behind the decision making on whether to source public or private goods and services.
