Social Innovation: A private sector-led, knowledge-based approach

General objective: Facilitate the emergence of innovative programs and initiatives in response to social development issues in the region, channeling investment in social innovation by companies and entrepreneurs. Specific objectives: (i) define a framework that annotates the concepts of innovation and social entrepreneurship, (ii) diagnostic the current state of innovation and social entrepreneurship in selected countries (iii) generate a proposal for the development public interventions to support social innovation in countries of the region.
