RG-T2339 : Enhancing BoP Integration Value Chains in LAC through Increased Broadband Adopt

The general objective of this technical cooperation is to enhance productivity and competitiveness in value chains in LAC countries by raising awareness on the benefits from increasing the adoption of broadband communication technologies. The specific objectives are: (i) to examine the current state of the adoption of broadband communication technologies in LAC value chains; (ii) to identify bottlenecks both at the private and public sector levels that could be overcome by the adoption of broadband communication technologies; (iii) to design policy recommendations in order to enhance adoption of broadband communication technologies for better value chain integration.
