RG-T2330 : Expanding Private Sector Investment in Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services

The specific objectives of the TC are to: (i) design private sector biodiversity and ecosystem services indicators and a biodiversity opportunity assessment tool that will provide criteria to determine if a loan is biodiversity positive, (ii) implement a market study to identify clients for an SCF/FMK planetBanking Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services finance line that extends credit via financial institutions (FIs), and provide these FIs with the initial technical assistance needed to implement the BES lines, and to provide at least one biodiversity and ecosystem services value-added analysis for a corporate or infrastructure client, and (iii) enable implementation of the above activities through research support.
