RG-T2177 : Comprehensive Support for the Citizen Security Initiative

The Initiative will improve the effectiveness of public policies of recipient countries through support for: (i) improvement of the quality, availability and analysis of information and policies, (ii) strengthening of capacities to manage and evaluate public policies in CS, and (iii) promoting a greater exchange of knowledge by promoting bilateral cooperation between countries. In order to enable countries to achieve the maximum benefit from the support provided by the Initiative, an additional effort to promote this new instrument is required, in order to meet the demand for it, streamline the management and process operations that make use of the CSI, ensuring that they meet the standards of quality and evaluability requirements, and optimize the dissemination of outputs and outcomes of the proposals supported by it.
