The specific objectives are to: (i) review the history of efforts led by the IDB to address the enabling conditions that facilitate growth of innovative, productive and competitive firms (ii) create a conceptual framework that outlines measurable characteristics affecting the environment for competitiveness and innovation in LAC and (iii) deepen the analytical work and disseminate the results of the first two objectives.
