The purpose of this TC is to contribute to mainstreaming climate change issues relevant to the trade policy agenda in the Ministries of Commerce in Latin America by way of strengthening the knowledge and the institutional capacity of public institutions responsible for policy business to understand, monitor and analyze the consequences of climate change on trade, as well as incorporate this issue in the management of trade policies implemented by countries.
